Patrick J. Lamb questions whether PSFs can go viral and take advantage of "word of mouth" marketing to drive potentially millions of new clients to PSF websites in the same way that other industries or movements have succeeded (fancy a blender? - just look at the number of views!)
This ties in nicely with Seth Godin’s latest book, Meatball Sundaes, in which he questions whether companies or firms built in the "old economy" can use the tools of the "new economy" with success?
Seth’s response is a resounding no, as such an old + new marketing approach could lead to the nasty concoction of a "meatball sundae".
So how can PSFs rebuild their practices to harness the opportunities and tools of the new economy? Any real life examples?
